Mailout Submission

Each submission requires a title/headline, description, and appropriate contact information. Total length of text should not exceed 250 words. Select the most appropriate audience for each submission.

The deadline for inclusion in USM Mailout is 3 p.m. on the prior day.
- Wednesday mailout submissions are due no later than 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
- Thursday mailout submissions are due no later than 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
- Friday mailout submissions are due no later than 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Messages intended for faculty and staff will be distributed on Wednesdays. Messages intended for students will be distributed on Thursdays. Messages that apply to all students, faculty and staff will be distributed on Fridays.

The maximum length of time for submissions to run in USM Mailout is three weeks.

Submissions must contain official announcements regarding University-related business and information only.

Submissions will only be accepted from University units or official University-sanctioned organizations.

Students seeking to submit items must do so through a faculty/staff advisor, sponsor or supervisor.

Solicitations of employment, membership or petition signatures are prohibited.

Political statements, editorials or other statements of opinion are prohibited.
